ANNAPOLIS, MD - Annapolis resident Fish Stark competed on a new game show that aired last week, Naptown Scoop first reported.

Stark appeared on "Snake Oil," a FOX show where contestants guess which business pitches are real and which are fake. Naptown Scoop compared it to a combination of the investing show "Shark Tank" and the artistic baking competition "Is It Cake?"

On "Snake Oil," each contestant is paired with a celebrity to help them decide. Stark worked with actor Will Arnett, known for his roles in the sitcom "Arrested Development," the animated film "The Lego Movie" and the brick-building game show "Lego Masters."

Stark ended up winning $40,000. The lucky winner plans to put the money toward an engagement ring for his girlfriend of two years.

Stark was introduced on the show as an educator from Fremont, California at the time of filming. He moved to Annapolis this October, however, possibly after filming "Snake Oil."

The episode, which was the fourth of the show's first season, premiered on Oct. 18. Fans can watch it for free at this link.
