ANNAPOLIS, MD - A new sandwich shop opened its first Anne Arundel County location Friday in the Annapolis Town Center.

The eatery is called RegionAle, a tribute to its current regional sandwich offerings and future draft beer list. The eatery told Patch it expects to have its liquor license soon.

RegionAle's sandwich menu includes the Maryland crabcake, the New York Italian hero and the Philly cheesesteak. There's also the Florida Cubano, the Nashville hot chicken and the Louisiana shrimp po'boy. The buffalo cauliflower sandwich is one of three vegetarian options.

"We are extremely excited to be part of the Annapolis community, and look forward to bringing people together with awesome sandwiches and local craft beers!" RegionAle said on its website

The 1,650-square-foot restaurant is decorated with a large American flag mural. There are also markers on the ceiling with the names and distances of major cities. Customers dine at high-top tables.

RegionAle is located 1901 Towne Centre Blvd. #125. That's between Cava and Nothing Bundt Cakes.

This is the third RegionAle. The others are in Canton and Ellicott City.

The Annapolis location opens daily at 11 a.m. It closes at 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday. It's open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Customers can visit regionalesandwich.com, call (443) 949-9252 or follow the business on Facebook for more information.
