Salon Reopening 6 Weeks After Car Crashed Into Annapolis Shop
ANNAPOLIS, MD - An Annapolis kids hair salon is reopening Saturday, six weeks after reports said a car crashed into the building and injured four people.
"We are working on rebuilding the salon and getting it back open as soon as possible," Pigtails & Crewcuts said Nov. 8 on Facebook. "We apologize for the inconvenience but greatly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this time."
Pigtails & Crewcuts posted these photos of the construction progress.
With the reopening approaching, appointments are now available on the salon's website.
WJZ reported that the crash happened on Oct. 23 in the Festival at Riva shopping center. The TV station said the victims were three adults and one child, who was a customer.
WJZ said authorities were called around 3 p.m. after the car crashed into the building while parking and came to a rest in the kids play area.
"All of a sudden, this car comes flying through and we all just kind of ran up here," hairstylist Shelly Paddy told WJZ. "I don't know what else to do."
