Bikes Gifted To Annapolis Boys & Girls Club

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Christmas came early at the Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis. 

Seventy-one children were gifted a bicycle on Dec. 16. 

The event was organized by Bykes 2 Tykes and the Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (Bike AAA).

The Anne Arundel County Police Department and the Maryland State Police helped hand out the bikes.

"Happy to be on hand this morning with the Maryland State Police at the Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis to support the ... Bykes 2 Tykes organization and Bike AAA as 71 children received bicycles for Christmas," county police said Dec. 16 on Facebook

These groups have been spreading holiday cheer all season.

Bikes 2 Tykes on Dec. 17 donated bicycles at the Pasadena Greene Turtle, which gave kids a free meal. Bike AAA assembled those bicycles.

County and state police each held a toy drive this year.

The Dec. 16 Santa Speedo Run donated gifts to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County. The Heritage Harbour Women’s Club helped wrap those presents.
