Sandwich Shop Closes Downtown Annapolis Location: Reports
ANNAPOLIS, MD - Jimmy John's recently closed its downtown Annapolis sandwich shop, reports said.
Eye On Annapolis first reported the news on Sunday. The location is no longer listed on the Jimmy John's website. Patch called the phone number listed for the business Monday, and we got a not-in-service message.
The Eye On Annapolis story had a photo of a sign that read:
"Thank you for your patronage! We will be closed permanently after 12/22/2023 Please visit our Annapolis Towne Center Location!"
We contacted the Jimmy John's in the Annapolis Town Center, which is still open. A worker confirmed that the downtown location closed in December.
This is the third recent restaurant closure in Annapolis.
Flamant, a Belgian restaurant in West Annapolis, closed on New Year's Eve.
Mission BBQ, a patriotic barbecue eatery, closed its downtown location this Saturday.
